They shouldn't let kids only a month and 1/2 old mess with clocks! :D
There are people who can replace your pivots. Check your area for clock repairers. Let us know if you need a name or two.

If that movement has those infamous plated pivots it might be more advantageous and maybe not much more expensive to buy a new movement. I think that probably is a Hermle movement and there are lists of Seth Thomas movement numbers and the corresponding Hermle movement number. My copy of the Timesavers catalog shows a ST 403-001 is a Hermle 350-060.
