I have a vintage Tag chrono that has a moderately scratched glass crystal. I have some experience polishing plastic crystals but not much with glass. Is there any way to polish glass crystals effectively? Thanks for any help with this.

I have polished glass on cars and watches over several years using the glass polishing kit from Eastwood (Eastwood.com). The crystal has to be thick enough to take a little hand pressure. It takes times and patience, unlike plastic polishing, but works well. If scratches are deep then replacement of the crystal is recommended.

not sure what the material is, mineral or glass. The watch is a mid 80's quartz chrono. Sounds like the best route will be just replace the crystal. Thanks for all the replies.
