Thank you for your reply. So no numbers nor signatures on the movement is normal for PP from this period? Someone posted a link to one about 7mm bigger that was from 1830s.The movement looks like Patek Phillippe movement in that serial number range. The third wheel jewel has been replaced.
It is a very fine watch
Very rare Movado Zenith 18K gold pocket watch powered by an ultra thin 17 jewels Movado Zenith wristwatch movement. This is the classic Movado Museum dial design which was so successful for Movado. The minimalist dial was inspired by Bauhaus designs. The solid gold dial has a machine circular texture made by turning the disc on a lathe. Then the Sun image positioned at noon position was thereafter milled leaving a high polish surface. Black coated hands make a nice contrast. The watch measures 38 mm across. I found a couple of wrist watches with a similar but smaller case and an identical dial for sale on the Internet. One in 18K yellow gold and one in 18K white gold. The back has a factory number 30 0280 535
