I am new to watches..that said, I was wondering about this pocket watch. I purchased a box of horological stuff at a sale and this was in it. The movement is mounted in a sterling silver case (very lite). It is a pin set movement. The inner cover has writing. I speak English and some Spanish so I have no idea what it says. I would like to know what the inscription says and anything else you can tell me about this watch.

Thank you for any and all inputs.

The cuvette says that the watch is stem-wound, has a lever movement, and has 15 jewels.

Is the serial number a way to date the watch? In this case #18810
Is this watch made by Geneve? Swiss?

"Geneve" is the city of Geneva in its French language. It might be a brand name, but I've not heard of it. The serial number is almost certainly of no use, because hardly any serial number records exist for most Swiss watches. You watch is undoubtedly Swiss. It is a modest watch.
