This is from a 1942 Westclox Pocket Ben and when I disassembled it, the shaft came out with the second hand. I cleaned all the parts and removed the second hand off this shaft. I am planning on a tiny bit of red locktite to hold it in place once I get it back in. My question is, How can I get this back in place? Any special tool needed to do this? I tried tweezers, but you can't get a firm grip on it. Pliers would be too rough on it. I know the easiest way would be to get a parts watch, but hate to rip apart another watch for one piece.
