Do you think this is a Gustav Becker?
Teaclocks, the short answer is no. I've documented several hundred GB Westminster chime movements and this one is not even close to either the quality or design of a GB. Perhaps the movement can be identified by someone who is familiar with the design, but I've not seen it before.

This is an older Mauthe. It should play Westminster or Copenhagen chimes. Most have Westminster.

Mauthe often liked using geared arbors and are typically mistaken for GB products which also used geared arbors.

I still own a later (1932) Mauthe with geared arbors. The movement is nothing like a true GB, although it is good quality.
