Does anyone know what the initials G&K stand for on watch case?
This is the mark of Gebrüder Kuttroff, of Pforzheim in Germany. The company manufactured watch cases and metal straps.
Thank you very much for this. When listing a watch on eBay, it gives G & K as a choice of case material and this is the first one that I have ever seen with those initials.
The mark is G K with a tiny crescent and star between the letters (look carefully and you will see it).
It is not G & K.
I don't understand your comment about the Ebay listing. GK has nothing to do with the case material, it is the initials of the case maker.
JTD, thank you for this information. At the moment, I can not find where I saw this choice but I will get back to you when I do.
