Funky 1970's Bulova

Bought this for $3 in a junk shop last weekend. Inside is a Bulova 11AOACD. It was missing crystal and crown, but ticked. Luckily dial/dial markers weren't damaged even though it was buried in a pile of costume jewelry. I thought for sure that this wasn't the correct case-but it is marked West Germany which I've seen on other Bulova's and has the correct tabbed back matching the Bulova back cover. Repairers marks on case back show 1978 and 1980 repairs-so it seems all original. The winding gears needed resetting and the date jump lever was out of place-but it came back together easily and is ticking away. A little loud for my taste-but feels good on wrist. Curious if anyone has seen similar one?

Very nice. I'm a big fan of this series of movements and own/have owned several. I can't say that I've had an identical one, but some similar. Glad to hear it's running good, they can be an adventure to service...

There's a lot of crazy going on here lately. Not sure I would recommend...
