• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Hi
Oh once again broken clock from flea market but I can't help my self, I think it's beaty. Junghans pendyl clock with w278 movement.
It needs pendulum, pendulum spring and key. Never seen this kind of key is it for adjust time? Like pendulum bob's screw do.
If anyone have these pieces i'am interesting to buy?
I think this clock is from mid 1940's. Good summer :)

The suspension spring is easy to obtain from any of the clock material suppliers. I don't know what sort of pendulum this clock would have had, but others will probably be able to tell you.

I don't know why you say you need a key - you already have one. Yes, you are right about the adjustment. The large end of the key is for winding the time and strike arbors and the tiny end is for fine adjustments to the pendulum, enabling you to make fine adjustments to the fast/slow running of the clock. This adjustment is made from the front of the clock, through the tiny hole just below the 12.

A nice and unusual clock.

Only things I see he needs is the suspension spring, leader, and bob. Should not be hard to get ahold of or expensive. The bob will be the toughest if you want to get ahold of the actual bob used for this exact clock

Thanks for answers.
I don't have the key really picture it's from net.
I am positive that I found pendulum and key somewhere but I have to try fix spring. Then I have to lube movement and check bearings.

Well, if you've got the pendulum and the key you almost there! You can't 'fix' that broken suspension spring, you need to get a new one, but they are easy to get and fix and not expensive.
