I'm guessing mid-1800s, silvered dial, counterbalancing weights, time only. Unsigned. Approx value and dating (maker?) requested for estate valuation.
May be brought to San Diego Regional in November.
There are Asian-made replicas very similar to this clock, suggesting that it was worth copying. All help gratefully received. pinwhl.jpg

I have no idea of the value, but there is one in the Sotheby's sale of George Daniels' estate that George made as a copy of one by Breguet. I believe the presale estimate on that one is a bit over $70,000. I would expect this one to be a whole lot less.

thank you, Tom. Yeah, the Breguet / Daniels clocks are works of art to be sure! Question: Should this one be, um, cleaned and lacquered, dial resilvered etc., or left as is for sale purposes? Thanks/mark
