While waiting on replies to my earlier post about a MOREZ movement, I've been doing some searching in the forum and have read some pretty informative stuff...One thing I am curious about is...are the pivots on theses clocks as fragile as I everything I've read so far? How careful do I NEED to be?? I'd hate to start busting pivots off, BECAUSE I am not equipped to replace pivots. Don't have the equipment. I have the desire, but not the equipment.....
Any advise on handling these wheels/pivots would be greatly appreciated.....

Best,
Bob

They are in fact quite sturdy, as all parts in these clocks. Quite different from the French roulant movements.

They are built like a tank and can run with a lot of slop or play. ;-) Always a mystery of what previous repairs took place.
