Working on a French mantel clock that has a damaged minute wheel, the end is broken off and the shaft is twister. The minute wheel has 32 teeth, the diameter of the wheel is .648" and the length from the back of the wheel to the end where the minute hand slips on is approx. 3/4" Min Wheel 1.JPG Min Wheel 2.JPG Mvt 1.JPG Mvt 2.JPG

The minute wheel you mention, looks like the canon pinion to me. It also looks repairable to me.

Agreed. Can a sleeve be put over it to hold it all together. Pic is a bit fuzzy for me.

Both parts of the pinion would need to be turned down so that a sleeve would end up being the same outside diameter.
