Picked this up a couple of days ago. Movement is especially clean. I believe I will restore the gold guild on the figures.

Thanks. I didn't realize they made black as I haven't seen it in my local stores.

If you don't mind another question, how do you apply it? I started by using cotton tipped swabs, but found these tended to smear it off if you continued rubbing, so it was hard to control the finish. I found a tooth brush to be the best applicator. I think it works great. I used this technique on the Hunter and Woman with Child in this post: Statue Clock or Figurine Clock? Either way I found another and another.

I used a closed cell foam application. I actually pulled it off of a shower handle plate I was replacing. It was glued to the back of the plate to keep water from getting behind the plate. You can also find closed cell foam in packaging materials. The closed cell foam doesn’t absorb the rubnbuff and it applies smoothly.

I did put a triangular tip when I cut the foam. I will put a little extra on area above the crevice and push it in. The foam is soft enough to see it thru the crevice.
