French figural clock

I just acquired this clock at auction. The figure on top is holding a early bagpipe instrument, but the piece between his hands is missing. Does anyone have a photo of this clock or one with the same figure on top so I can see what the missing piece looks like? The movement is French and the case is marble or slate. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Wow! Thanks for the link. Unbelievable that you found a bronze that was obviously used as a model for the clock top or that was cast in the same molds. The one on the clock is three pieces and the base is thinner and not signed. Otherwise it seems to be a match.

correction: the clock top is four pieces, the right arm, the upper body, the bagpipe, and the lower body.

Yeah, it’s amazing what you can find on the internet- and sometimes you strike it lucky. Given the attribution for the statue it on the Catawiki listing, I think it would be safe to say yours is from the same model
