Hi all,
I wind all my clocks same time every week. Was winding my French carriage clock up. Was about 3/4 wound & the spring jumped off the center harbor releasing enough force to brake 2 teeth off the barrel & bend another. I know it's possible to replace teeth but this has a powerful spring. It's an early 1910 apx French carriage clock with a cylinder escapement.
I have a feeling I need to look for a doner replacement.
If there is possibility that it can be repaired open for ideas.

Also, carefully check every tooth on the click wheel before you put it back together. This can be collateral damage or the actual root of the problem.

I send stuff like this out for repair. If you value your time, this is often the least expensive way to go.

Thanks . Unfortunately, there isn't anything like this any were here that I can find.
I did check the first pinion & shaft looks OK. But the click wheel I can see it did slip . I think it's a ebay search & wait job . Yuk .
That makes 2 of my clocks died this week. O well another project.
