Got this Franz Vosseler lunar 30 day anniversary torsion clock under glass dome. Needs a good servicing but should run from what I see

What's the pink stuff?
Seems to be a bandaid Lol important part is all the original suspension parts are there

This is what the original fork looks like. It's really a loop with a hole at the end for the spring and a taper pin. That would explain the band aid.

I made what was on it when I got it. A very thin piece of brass wrapped around the original to when I got it small end of tapered pin. Putting it over suspension spring and pin it. Just like upper and lower block.

How did you clean a dial ? I am scary to clean and to loose numbers. I am missing upper block - I need to fig. out something - I do not think so that I can find similar to buy. Peter
I didn't do much to dial was in nice shape when I got it. But the numbers are rubbed off a bit by someone. I'd try not to touch the numbers
