As collectors we should be aware of the term "Frankenstein Watch", meaning be made up of different plates, bridges, balances, etc. and something to avoid like the plague.:cyclops:

The term getting it's name from the 1818 Novel by English author Mary Shelley and later the 1931 movie staring Boris Karloff.

So, frankenstein has evolved into a modern term for something that is not correct and made up from different pieces.:cuckoo:

I thought you would enjoy seeing the original "franken" watch.

The irony is that this watch is all correct.

Only Haney could come up with that.

Does anyone have a Lugosi watch?

Would a made-up ladies watch be a Bride of Frankenstein watch?
