I have managed to clean up my cockoo clock parts and assembled it back. I am now facing the final issue of getting the music triggers after it cockoos. I know I am suppose to place the triggering bar as show in the photo closer to the trigger point on the music box so that it triggers to start the music. However, when I tilted it to the right, the weight of the bar seems to hold down the rack and is prevending it from dropping back to the gethering pin to stop the cockooing. What should I do?

I also found this little parts after assembling everything but couldn't figure out what is this? Could this be a weight to hold the rack or something that I missed out?

Hello Sampaul,
There should be a spring that mounts at the top left of the movement. See that it is applying downward force to the rack hook. Based on your last photo, it is in the wrong position.

I see... Thank you very much, Vernon! Problem solved
