My name is David and I collect all old/vintage odd and bobs and I have come across this.
From little information I've read it seems to be a Franz hermle & sons, though I can't seem to find this particular model (151-030) I understand the 34cm is the length of the chime? And the 114,075 are the beats per second?
Is there anyone out there that could possibly give me more information on the piece and age?
    Many thanks In advance! 15542041254575275638518383962463.jpg 1554204101968726910592221310148.jpg 15542040479161832723400303146378.jpg

    Welcome to the board.

As you say, your clock movement was made by Franz Hermle & Sons.

Your are also correct about the model number (115-03). The movement was made in 1982. You say 34cm is the 'length of the chime', I'm not sure what you meant by that, but it actually refers to the length of the pendulum.

117,075 beats per second would be an amazing rate indeed, probably resulting in the movement catching fire! (Only joking!). If I remember rightly, it is actually the number of beats per minute and remember that in Germany the , (comma) is used to designate what in UK is written with . So it is 117.075 beats per minute, multiply by 60 and you can get beats per hour. Hope I've remembered aright.

    Hope this helps.
