Favag favag master Clock manual wanted / I am a beginner at Clocks /

Im asking for any information about this FAVAG Master Clock . I bought from V.O.A. station 20 years ago. Any help will be highly appreciated

The clock appears to be a master timepiece of the type known as the "Hipp Toggle" type. They are well known in Switzerland and are excellent time keepers.

Your photos reveal that the toggle block mechanism has been removed from the pendulum rod. The toggle block is an important part of the mechanism.

I have enlarged part of one of your photos to show the toggle which engages with the missing toggle block part on the pendulum rod that would have moved left and right beneath the toggle.

Your pictures show a broken suspension spring device but missing is the entire suspension which supports the pendulum.

I went to the basement and found all these pieces in a box with indication Master Clock. But i' m afraid that there are is no other .









I refered to other websites and I saw some photos, like this Clock with more materials. And Im afraid that I miss more components. Mainly electronic components. I wonder if this is due to other reason i.e. if for seconds while mine is only for a minute signaling. or something else .. Since I am new to this story . There is no lot of electronic components in the upper side like in the photo at the site i refer lower.

Since i live in a very small place, (NE Greece) there is no specialist on these Clocks. But i think i need some help from any is in the repairing business to set up the pendulum. I need the manual or some schematic . / I dont know German or French / . Not found yet site from Switzerland about these Clock .I ll try next weekend to find more infos as i' m busy on working days. thanks eskmill

Les thanks for the comment. Very interesting...I assume from your comment that the Hipp toggle is used to impulse the clock using the principle that Hipp developed in the 1800's?
