Hello, let me start by saying I'm not used to forums. I tried a search and only found one post discussing types of fake torsion. I'm used to using manuals.
The clock in question is a Coca-Cola anniversary clock. Made in China with fake torsion pendulum with clock driven by single battery.
The hairspring is broke. Knowing nothing about clocks before starting this little journey, I stumbled about this forum. I have not been able to find any information about the mechanisms that drive the pendulum.
Is this repairable?
I'm a DIY kind of guy and a love learning. I've had to learn pinball machines, arcade machines, casino machines, electronics, soldering, etc due to my fiancee buying random stuff. This time it seems an ACTUAL pendulum clock would be preferable vs this "cheap" imitation.
So, Repair it? Or throw it away and just buy her a new one? If there any question or need a different picture just let me know. Thanks
