ETA 804.192 - ALARM ISSUE

Hi everyone

Can somebody help or point me in the right direction please.

I have just inherited a Tag Heuer Formula 1 alarm watch, it has the ETA 804.192 movement.

The issue is that the alarm works fine but it goes off exactly 4 hours after that time set by the alarm hand.

Is this a fault or is there a way to 'calibrate' the hour hand with the alarm setting hand?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have never worked on that movement but here is a link to a manual.

Have a look at page 8 where it is described how to fit the hands. Looks like you should remove the alarm hand and refite it as per instruction.
