English High Grade movement?

Hi, one of my real cheapies, what I think is a English High Grade movement? Has anyone got an idea of who made it? It has Cap Jewels on the Escape Wheel and Pallet Fork-Lever. If it has Jewels on the Pillar Plate as well it is High Grade. Balance is OK. Regards Ray

Are there any marks on the pillar plate under the dial? See if there's an "MM".

Hi Ray,

Could be 21 if there are two on the 4th wheel, and although this looks like a 3/4 plate, it's actually a 1/2 plate, (the 4th wheel has a separate cock).

Looks like quarter timing nuts on the balance rather than 'just' screws which is also a good sign.
