Matthew found this little publication for my birthday. It was published in 1924 to coincide with an exhibition, the British Empire Exhibition held at Wembly. Compiled by the Horological Journal, the house magazine of the British Horological Institute it cost sixpence.

The first half of the book gives a history of time keeping and includes a reference to the Astronomical clock in Wimborne Minster, a short distance from here, that predates the clock in Prague.

The second half is a catalogue to the exhibition listing all the exhibitors.
