• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Hi All!

I need some help identifying Elgin's early waterproof crystal. The dimensions are 21.6mm long by 18.0mm wide. It's a CMX style crystal with a double curve but have wide flanges. The closest I could find is CMX324-13C. Please see attached picture.

Thanks in advance!

is that an Edgewater ?

case back number should be 6533

if so

SUC RUM 155-15
GS CMT 356-4
GS CMX 329-33 ( I think this one is the one you want as the others have curves on the side and not straight)

Yes, this is an Edgewater case. GS CMX 329-33 is the correct crystal. Thanks!

Wyler used these cases along with several other brands, I have A Croton in one, a wartime Wyler called Defender. They usually used the ETA 1000 movements.
