I picked this up over the long weekend. It is shown on the Elgin site as a grade 996 or a grade 382? I cannot seem to find any other reference to a grade 996.
This is also marked adjusted, is this a 4 position adjusted movement.
    Thanks
    Jay

    Nice watch.

A grade 996 with a production of only 4,000 as you state for that serial #.

Maybe you will get a comment on the marking "adjusted".

Your watch is a standard Grade 382. According to catalog descriptions, the 381 and 382 were adjusted to temperature.
