The church of St Paul and St. Louis, founded 1627 in Paris, France.

The gate is composed of three orders; the profusion of its ornamentation recalls the Roman Churches of the sixteenth century. It is decorated with statues of Saint Louis, by Lequesne; Saint Catherine, by Préault; and Saint Aure, by Etex. The stoups are made of two shells offered by Victor Hugo at the time of the birth of his first child. In the interior is found the Virgin sitting, by Germain Pilon; and the paintings of Delacroix.
