By style the dial dates it to the third period of white dial clocks after 1830.

Loomes has Christopher Wright dial painter 1835-45.

The dial is from Wright of Birmingham (the word Birmingham is abbreviated on the dial). Prolific British dial makers in the 19th century.

I couldn't see the IEL or ILL you mentioned as being on 'the plate' (presumably the movement?) but perhaps I was looking in the wrong place.

Others will be able to date the style of the dial for you better than I can.

I see the dial was dated while I was writing!
