Early disc pendulum gallery question

Just out of curiosity I decided to verify if the pillars in this pendulum's gallery are indeed steel as I've read.

Turns out in my case they are plated brass. Now I wonder if any of these or the early three pillar versions have steel pillars. The reproduction pendulum that came with my Schatz Jubilee does have steel.

Anyone else out there have either of the early versions they can touch a magnet to?

Thanks,

Eric

Thanks Ming! Now we just need to find out about the other six pillar pendulums out there.

Have you posted pictures of that entire clock before?

Yes, I did. It was long time ago. I am not able to find it from my contents from this forum.

The 6 pillar gallery is non-magnetic . The 3 pillar gallery is magnetic.
