E Howard Art Deco Electric.JPG

Bought this clock on eBay for a song. E Howard Clock Co. Waltham MA on metal label on bottom. Great art deco look, 17" wide in a stepped walnut case, metal dial. Freed up the gears and got it running, it is a spin-start; I'm guessing 1920's, the company was in business from 1903 to 1934.

I can't find any information on the Howard Clock Co.; anybody know any good resources? Not mentioned in Ly's books, Electrifying Time, etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

A very attractive styled clock with a distinctively created face.

A clearer photo of the words printed on the face would help my tired eyesight because I don't see the full name as printed on the face.

Please provide sharp photos of the face and too, a photo of the label underneath the case as well as a picture of the spin-start movement.

There was a "Howard Clock Company" in Chicago that made quite a few electric mantel clocks but not the E. Howard company.

Additionally, a more obscure "Howard" electric clock was produced in California I believe.
