    Stumbled upon this one this morning. A honest 18 th century Dutch stoolclock with verge escapement (as always). This one has not been touched for ages, gathering dust. Has suffered through the years, but I like them this way, not been restored at all. Nice oak stool with mermaids on each side. Movement is still running strong and a bunch of papers and pictures came with it going back to an auction in 1986. Only the minutehand is incorrect, love this piece of Dutch antique. I took the side door off for the picture.
