I would like to learn more about this clock. What I know is that the movement is E. Ingraham & Co. Bristol Ct. The Calendar is B B Lewis Perpetual with leap year last patent date Dec.20 1868 and assume manufactured by Welch Spring & Co. What I would like to know is am I correct so far. The other things I'm researching are does this clock have a name, when it was built, and what the original finish and or an unmolested version of this clock.

It does look like the Welch, Spring & Co. Round Head No. 4, ca. 1878, with BB Lewis calendar movement. However, it is surprising (to me) to learn that the clock movement is an Ingraham. I assume you have seen it? If it is there, I would think it a marriage of movement and case. I believe it was rosewood veneered.

Several pictures of the clock can be found here, antiqueclockspriceguide.com. A view of the full information requires payment of a subscription.
