Your clock has a German movement, made by Kienzle, a prolific German maker of movements.

The "Made in England" on the dial of a clock that contains a movement that was made outside of the U.K. or made outside of the U.K. empire indicates that the clock was cased in England.

I am not familiar with "Dominion", but I suspect that it is a brand name of the company that cased the clock.

Regards.

the Kienzle movement is a good one,7jewels,running on 1.5 Volts. If You want to service it Yourself You should know something of watchmaking, balances, haisprings and the like. You can start by cleaning all contact points , especialy the battery holder.Good luck!

I did not know it has 7 jewels.
It's written on the movement - you can see it in your post.

Uhralt is right, these are good movements, I hope you are able to revive it because it may be hard to replace it with the same model, they are out of production now.
