Does anyone happen to recognize this case maker from not long before the start or around the end of the American Civil War, "W. P. & Co."?

The “Jewelers’ Circular” lists the Wheeler, Parsons & Co. name as coming into use in 1867 when Lewis A. Parsons was given an interest in the firm Charles E. Hale & Co. (which was founded by its namesake in 1851, and to which Hayden W. Wheeler joined in 1852).
