Does anyone recognize this trademark?
That is the trademark of Eugene Farcot and was registered in 1870.
Thanks! I never could find it in my European trademarks book.
HOW did you do that ??
Sometimes it's experience - if you've seen enough Farcot clocks you recognise the mark immediately, they are unlike anyone else's. Other times it's looking at the various reference sources.
Exactly. It's likely from mikrolisk.de (below), but it may have shown up before on the message board.
The answers provided by JTD and Steven would have been my response, but they beat me to it.
I must also add that I have learned so much over the years from contributors such as JTD, Steven, Doug Stevenson and others and I am greatly appreciative.
You are the man John.
