Does anyone recognize this hallmark?

This chain attached to Prior watch but it seems older than watch? It is almost looks like 1707 London but it is not same. This is not actual watch question, but could anyone help me.

Rono I think that you will have to get a closer picture of the marks - at least for my dim old eyes! I can't make out anything from the picture you posted.

Hello DaveyG, I hope this will be able to see little more.

Hi richiec, I agree with you. I think the fob is from victorian period. it seems not all original condition.

I don't see any other mark. It is chatelaine type of chain and there is no proof of this as british origin.

Rono, I see nothing in your photo which in any way resembles a hallmark :confused: Which symbols are you referring to?

It looks like a maker's mark.

If it were English sterling silver there would be several marks there.

The marks does not give me any idea of the age of the chain, but it is a nice one.
