Hello guys, I'm new on this watch community. I wanted to ask if someone knows something about this watch I just inherited, it's an election vintage gold watch. Could anyone tell me a little bit o it's sory, and maybe the aprox value? I don't intend on selling it cause it has great sentimental value, but I would like to know. Thx.

It is difficult to tell much from your photos. You'd need to know what the case and band are made of. It does look like the case is gold but difficult to know until the back is removed to show what carat it is It does look like 14 or 18 carat but I can't see any stamps.
The band may not be gold at all until you take a close up photo of the clasp. It should have the carat value of the gold stamped there.
Is the watch movement an automatic? Well it could be but I cannot see the evidence of that. Maybe it is because the case back looks substantial enough to have an automatic movement but unless the photo of the dial is better, I cannot see automatic written there in your photos.
If the case and the band are gold, it will be quite valuable.
Election did make their own. For example: The base calibre Election 805 was passed from Election to Marvin ca. 1960, and finally to Longines in the late 60s.
I got that from Ranfft

Hey Rough! Thx for answering. I cannot take any more pics cause the watch is now in a bank safe, but as far as my granpa told me the watch was made entirely of 18k gold. Related to the movement, it's mechanical hand winding movement. It's crazy I cannot find a lot of Election watches out there, or reviews. Thx a lot!

Thank you very much m8. I also tried the "search by image" of google, and gave a few tips about it. Thx a lot!

Interesting shock protection used on the balance staff. I've never seen such a design. Cool.
