ORIGINAL crystal cabinets? With ORIGINAL brands of crystals? Or crystals, in rolls?
I have 17 steel and wooden cabinets, some containing up to 20 drawers, each drawer containing 2 x 2 inch cardboard boxes containing by estimate (total) about 10,000 fancy and round, duplex and plain, glass crystals. These serve more as a practical collection, rather than something just to have and hold. Unfortunately, 16-size and 18-size glass crystals all gone. These are French and American replacement crystals, and perhaps by definition, are not "original", but rarely do I have to alter one to fit a vintage or antique watch case.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, many crystal finds lack the popular sizes.
In one of my cabinets I find that some of the small sizes are difficult to find in new condition with papers or rolls? Any experience with these?
Do any members have or have seen any period oak, cherry, walnut crystal cabinets OVER TEN DRAWERS?
If my Rossbergs count...then try 16....
for upright housing?
I looked at a five drawer today and the drawers were so stuck and warped it took me 5 minutes to finally open just one drawer................and then the odor, the smell; it was as bad as FAKE dials on watches, that smell! SICKENING!
