hi everyone. I was looking for information about this watch, I can’t find anything, maybe someone knows something. They work fine, I just would like to know when they were made and a hundred means the inscription made on the back wall of the mechanism.

    Welcome to the board.

Your clock (not watch) is small travel alarm, made in Germany. The name 'Diplomat' was used by a number of companies, including J. Kaiser in Villingen, who may have produced your clock.

I am not quite sure what you mean by 'a hundred...' but if you are talking about the scratched number on the back of the clock, this is either a repairer's number or perhaps something put on by a previous owner. It has no importance.

As for the date, it is hard to say exactly. Perhaps from 1970s.

If you remove the back cover (unscrew the winders, pull off the hand setting knob and undo the small screws) you might see a maker's name on the movement.

    Hope this helps.

    Good afternoon, and welcome, Newbie!

The inscription, which appears to be "MD 12 70," might be a date, "December 1970," when the clock was last serviced. Clock and watch repairers often make those kinds of notes on their work.

    Best regards!
