I have a vintage gold pocket watch with either Cuivre or Guivre inside number of 357659. It is Swiss made with a 14K casing. The inside is hand engraved the jeweler told me. Value?
We need to see pictures of your watch to give you much information. Cuivre is French for copper. This is common on the inner cover of low end gold watches of the mid 19th century.
We need to see the hand engraving to be able to determine its significance. If it is small hand engraved script, the marking are repair notations.
