I am working on a movement made by the Cuckoo Clock Mfg. Co., Germany. It is a 30 hr non-musical movement, stamped 100/171. It is in very rough shape and hardly worth repairing. Is there an equivalent movement made by Regula or Herr that is a direct fit for this movement?

In all probability JK, it probably is a "REGULA" movement. Regula "25" (25 often stamped on movement backplate) is a one day movement. Altho most are of same pendulum length - that should be a consideration. Most modern ones are so interchangeable you'll find it aligns perfectly with the original mount holes and little or no mods necessary. I'd snatch one offa EBay for probly under $20. Shoot. Ya may even find a Cuckoo mfg. one there if that's important to you. I find "HERR" movements of better quality, more expensive, and likely less interchangeable.

I have a cuckoo clock co. 100/171 movement that has no weights.
Can anyone tell me the proper size weights used for this movement.
Thanks in advance.
