    Hello,
I am interested in knowing about a clockmaker named I. Powl. I believe he may have been an active maker in PA during 1900-1910 and made dwarf tall case clocks. Please contact me by email if you have any information. carl@heirloomclocks.net Thanks.
    Cordially,
    Carl

    Hello Carl,

He was not listed in Spittler's 2nd edition of "Watchmakers and Clockmakers by Name and Place", so his was a very obscure maker. He was very later maker, so he possibly acquired the movements and built or acquired the cases and assembled the clocks.

I would contact the NAWCC Library and Research Center to see if there might be some record of him.

Posting a photograph of the clock and dial would be helpful.
