WTB white seconds hand for Chelsea black faced military clock

I'm looking for the white seconds hand, with the crescent on the end. I think it is the same hand used on both the US Navy and the larger US Government "missile silo" black faced clocks. The Chelsea Clock Co offered no help. Any help will be appreciated....

WM Gilbert 25 movement needed or parts

I need a Gilbert movement that has 25 on the front plate. I need the gear assembly that goes from the chime main spring assy to the next gear. It is the second gear cluster in the chain. Can anyone help? The assembly has a lot of stripped teeth Also the front plate has a bad pivot point. So if a complete movement I can use for parts is available that would work also.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
George

Jura pendulum needed

The Jura clock on my bench is missing the full pendulum. My customer wants it authentic. So, I'm looking for a bob. It appears from searches to be an chrome octagonal shape, maybe near 4 x 5 inches. Look in your spare parts bin and let me know if you have one. Examples of Jura box clocks (24" square) can be seen on Google (Jura Clocks) or on Ebay.

I need the two weights and the sweep second hand for a Welch & Spring No. 1 Regulator. If you have one of these clocks, basic information about the original weights would help.

Resch Bro. "Remember" , Movement part-"Bridge cock"

Part needed. Have a 4" x 4" Resch Bro. "Remember" movement with a broken tube (worn away) on the bridge cock. That's the part that the minute arbor goes thru and supports the hour h and cannon. In the photo the separated part is up in the hour cannon. 247193.jpg

Re: Resch Bro. "Remember" , Movement part-"Bridge cock"

So the hour cannon is the problem Bob? I would think you could "borrow" one from just about any movement, and attach it to the wheel?

Re: Resch Bro. "Remember" , Movement part-"Bridge cock"

There is no borrowing.. You see(in the picture) the minute hand arbor coming up out of the bridge cock. The guide tube is fixed over that arbor and is part of the bridge cock. "The hour cannon fits over that tube. The tube wore away at the shiney point you see on the bridge cock. So the tube guides the minute arbor and supports the hour cannon. To make a new one=drilling out the bridge cock, make a new tube, tapered for clearance to the inside of the hour cannon.
This is what I will have to make, unless I can find a part from a 'salvage' movement.

I'm in contact with Phil Johansen-Crafts winner several times for unusual hand made clocks. Anyway, he has agreed to make me a new sleeve and install it. I was already in contact with David and he did now offer a salvage part.

Waterbury Regulator 53 Weights

All,

I just purchased a Waterbury Regulator 53 with no weights. Does anyone have a set of weights for this clock that I could acquire? Or at least the dimensions and weight so I can know what to look for.

Thanks,
Walt

Wanted: Hubert Herr dual door reuge music woodchopper cuckoo for parts and repair

Looking for a clock like the one shown in these photos to use for parts. The arrows show the parts I need, but will buy an entire clock if it is in "for parts only" condition. I am after the reuge music movement with extended shaft to drive the water wheel pulley.

Overall length:1.538"
Length from pivot shoulder to pivot shoulder: 1.34"
Pivot diameter: .048" (but these have been filed)
Arbor diameter: .084".
Trying again tonight but it is so small and I do not have precision instruments.
Thanks a lot,

arbor and governor fly needed

Hello All,

I am in need of an arbor/fly for a British 8-day tall clock movement (a customer's clock.) I cannot make this myself. I have nothing available to copy as the original was lost during a move. The clock apparently was shaken to the extent that the pins worked out of the posts and the plates spread just enough for it, and other parts, to fall out.

The rest of the movement was found in the case and can be completely restored to wonderful working condition.

Can anyone recommend someone to do this work? I contacted a couple of folks of which I am aware, but they need something to duplicate.

Has anyone ever used the replacement available from Timesavers with any success?

Thanks in advance. I need some help with this one!

Re: WTB Cleveland Clock Parts

The ornaments were sold separately, in numerous styles, according to Tran Duy Ly's
book on Ansonia clocks, so instead of looking for that particular ornament, one could
look for any Ansonia top ornament. That particular ornament seems not to be listed
in the book, so maybe it's not even from Ansonia.

Re: looking for hands, German Bracket Clock

Looking for a dial and bezel for a 1914 Gilbert small dome ( beehive? ) clock.
It is 5-1/2 inches across and has the small rate adjust hole at the 12 o'clock.
The dial doesn't have to be in super condition.

Morbier/Comtoise calendar wheel part

Is there anyone that would have the wheel I am looking for to run the calendar on my clock Morbier clock? I think I read somewhere where it needed to be a 72 tooth wheel but not sure on that. Just from my rough estimates, it looks like it needs to be about 2.24" in diameter. Didn't know if someone might have one for parts they might sell off of. 250953.jpg Everything else seems to be there except the wheel that advances the calendar. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Morbier/Comtoise calendar wheel part

Your also missing the detent spring to hold the date
wheel.
As you say, it looks to be a 72 tooth wheel, although
I don't see the arbor it is suppose to ride on.
I suspect this is not the original movement for the dial.
It looks like the minute wheel of your motion works is
exactly what you'd need. It looks to be a 2:1 off the center
shaft.
It could be used as a template to make a new wheel or a similar
parts clock. ( count the teeth on it )
Is it the right size?

There are 36 teeth on the wheel that is in front of the pendulum leader. Yes, I am missing the 'post' that would hold the wheel I'm looking for. Thought I could make that if I had to. Just don't think I could make the wheel. Don't have any experience in that area.🤔

Re: Clock Parts Wanted

If the 36 tooth center wheel for the motion works is
the same size as the one for the date, the 72 tooth minute wheel
of the motion work will match.
You can the use it to have someone make another wheel for you.
There are several people on the MB that are capable of doing it.

Thank you Tinker. I'm a little slow, :whistle:but yes the minute wheel does have 72 teeth. I will see if there is someone close that can copy this, if not, will get with some on the MB. Just curious as to why you think the movement and dial are not original to each other? Thanks again for your assistance.

I don't see a place where the arbor would have been mounted. If you follow
the same distance out of the motion works around the center shaft, I don't
see anything obvious that would have held the arbor for this wheel.
At first I thought it might stack on the motion works but that would
interfere with crutch.
A picture, looking straight into the center shaft but back enough
to see where such an arbor might have been, might change my mind.
The clock face says it had the entire setup once but I just don't
see where it would have been mounted?
Tinker Dwight

I just gave the pictures another look. There is a hole on the right
side that might have been used for this purpose but I can't
tell if the distance is right from the pictures perspective.

Re: Clock Parts Wanted

The hole on the right side, is a screw hole. So I was assuming that a post was screwed into this hole that would hold the wheel, to turn the calendar. The distance seems to work.
