For sale in my area is this decorative clock.
Can you help identify it?
I can't identify it for you but I don't think it's very old.
There seems to be something written very small on the back of the gold colored cover over the movement (in the second photo). Possibly 'Made in xxxxx' but I can't enlarge it enough to see.
Is this rule in affect, 3) No sell offers or discussions, no links to or discussion of active sales.
No. There is no link to a sale or any indication where it is for sale.
Says discusion of active sales.
So its okay if we dont post a link, thats good to know.
It is ok as long as there is no way to follow the information you post back to the actual sale. It is ok to say clock X is for sale near me. It would not be ok to say clock X is for sale on Ebay or craigslist or at a particular business as the active sale of clock X could be easily found.
It looks like a German wall/kitchen clock from the 1950's-1960's, in a rococo style.
Thank you for clarifying the rules of clocks for sale.
