Sorry, but Tatyana - pass.i bet Tatyana knows…![]()
That's right. Identification will be very difficult.Sorry, but Tatyana - pass.
I am afraid that even our Polish colleagues will not be able to identify this movement.
The case, movement bracket, dial and hands could give some hints.

Here are the photos of the unidentified clock. I've exhausted all of my clock books looking for this cabinet, hoping for a lead on the movement. However, it was not productive. I found similar cabinets. Can anybody identify this? I'm not sure why there is a suspension spring screwed into the case. I'm wondering if the case and the movement don't go with each other. Head scratching. Thanks for the responses. I will get some photos taken. Greg
I was wondering about that because it does not seem to fit on anything, plus having the suspension spring screw to the inside back. Thanks. I'll look through austrian clock info if I can find any. Thanks all.Everything looks very Austrian except for the pendulum.
Thanks. I appreciate it.Pendulum looks like a Gustav Becker triangle mount.
I think I found this clock online. It seems to be a GERMAN GEBR. RESCH. BROTHERS "REMEMBER", TWO WEIGHT VIENNA REGULATOR WALL CLOCK. Thanks for all your help, members.Hi Members,
I have a movement that has no identification marks on it except an engrave "2" at the bottom of one plate. Here are some photos.

Resch were an Austrian firm, not a German firm.It seems to be a GERMAN GEBR. RESCH. BROTHERS "REMEMBER"
As others have said, your clock is definitely NOT from Gebrüder Resch. But I agree that it is Austrian, as new2clocks and others have said.I think I found this clock online. This is perfectly normal for this type of clock. But as has been said already, the pendulum does not look as if it belongs to this clock.I'm not sure why there is a suspension spring screwed into the case
Yes, I agree it is the German maker. I'm not sure what pendulum I need to buy for it. Thanks for your commenta. As others have said, your clock is definitely NOT from Gebrüder Resch. But I agree that it is Austrian, as new2clocks and others have said.

Sorry, I get confused at times. Age and Parkinson's.Everyone who commented has agreed that the clock is Austrian. And , those folks (other than me) are very knowledgable in Austrian clocks.
So why do you say it is "the German maker"?
