Hi Guys

I have a citizen eco drive watch, its a sport type watch with a turning bezel at top, the crystal was broken due to a shopping cart hitting me, I have a new one ordered, and wondering what tool I should buy to remove the bezel, i have seen many on line but wanted to check with you guys first

The crystal will come off after the bezel has been removed, it doesn't go through the bottom as I have seen on some other watches

Thx for any assistance

I don't recall ever having to remove a revolving bezel in order to allow installation of a new crystal. Once you get around to removing the broken crystal, I suspect the new crystal will simply press into a nylon sealing ring within the bezel. In fact, if you are able to remove the broken crystal without removing the bezel, I am unable to see why the bezel would have to come off in order to allow you to install the new crystal! But your watch might be different. Hopefully, this is not one of the early Eco-Drive models which doesn't have a removable case back.

Sorry I may be not say the right part, i had read that you need to take back off to get at crystal and remove guts of watch, however this crystal sits under the dial that truns, and is too wide to go through the bottom, i was told that the top dial, which I called Bezel needed to come off to access the Crystal, then apply the dial back on with some exertion of sorts. The crystal broke in half, and I am unable to get other half out, and just didnt know quite where to start, the only parts diagram i could see was the citizen picture of the watch in sections

I hope maybe that makes more sense, i work on clocks mostly and wanted to see if I could repair this crystal etc
helps

it would help if you post some photos or at least give the case number so we can see what you are looking at
