Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

At a recent auction, I picked up 5 clocks, two keepers and 3 for stock. This one is a Chelsea wall clock, in oak. The works are marked "Chelsea Clock Co. Boston" and the serial number appears to be 38660 which I think dates it the 1904-1910 period? Everything seems to be original with the exception of the dial which is an accurate appearing replacement. (I would much prefer for it to have the original dial, but the replacement is certainly acceptable from a few feet away.) The original 7 1/2 # weight, complete tie-down, pendulum, and installation instructions are present. Its been running for a day and seems to be a decent timekeeper.

I'm curious about what the model number is for this clock?

Beautiful timepiece Raymond. I love the Boston models. I have a Howard 70 and recently purchased a Boston wall clock that will be delivered to me soon. I’m looking to purchase both Chelsea models. If your wife gets tired of it, call me!

Thank you! Wifey has a short attention span (only concerning clocks), so I think I'll keep it for awhile.
