I found this nice little Chelsea in my bone pile. Quartz? Takes aa battery. Runs great. Heavy. Well made. Cannot find any way to adjust the time. It gains a minute or so each day. Any ideas?
Kurt, I saw that after I posted. I will try it. I assume right is faster and left is slower. There is no “f”-“s” mark anywhere. I wonder if owners manuals are out there somewhere for these little clocks ??
I googled it and found that it is an Embassy model. Sells for around $500.00. Can’t find anything about an owners manual. Kevin, the knurled knob is the tiny one above and to the right of the Logo on the movement.
FYI. I turned the little knob clockwise about 1/4 turn last night and this morning it was right on time. We’ll see what happens.
FYI. I emailed Chelsea and they said it has a chronoquartz movement. It is a part mechanical and part quartz movement. Rather rare movement that is a transition from mechanical to quartz. Running great and keeping perfect time after the adjustment. They emailed me an owners manual.
