I was curious what were folks experiences with temperature and humidity changes impacting how well clocks & watches run?

Do clocks have more problems in winter (lower temperature and humidity) vs. summer (higher temperature and humidity)?

Do you have more problems with clocks hung on outside vs. inside walls?

The modern temp. compensating watch with the proper oils should have no problem. As for clocks, if it has a wood stick pendulom it can very a lot. A problem can occur if the oils and grease get's to thick in cold weather. Even stop the chimes but that would be more than just a normal home changes thru the seasons.
