So I had to replace the ratchet portion on the chain wheel and recently noticed that when the chain is moving it seems to not stay in the teeth of the ratchet portion which causes it to jump when running. I am not really sure on what to fix.

Check for bent links.
You may have the wrong chain on that main wheel. Solution.....count the number of links per foot and compare that with the other chain.

If you could take off the chain and get a pic of that wheel it would help. It doesn't look quite right to me.

Here's a handy set of instructions to make sure you have the correct matched chain, from across the pond.

It would help to know what kind of clock it goes into. If it's an older mission clock, for instance, it would likely use a ladder chain.

Usually, you can pull the chain down tightly in the sprocket for at least half a turn. Then look closely at the leading and trailing sprocket spikes. The chain should be completely down between the sheaths and evenly spaced on the spikes. If the chain fit is perfect, you may be able to slip the seated chain loop back and forth a bit on the chain wheel. If the chain is not perfect, it will be easy to notice whether you need more or less links per foot.
